Behind the Scenes
Website Design: A Local Maker
I (Kaitlin) met Chelsea at a local event and ran into her few times at different pop-up markets in the Edmonton area. We kept up online (gotta’ love Instagram!). At the time, Chelsea was only selling her Tikko J handmade scrunchies at markets and through direct messages. She reached out to get a website launched for her business and I loved taking on a project with a local business.

Why We Chose Squarespace
Chelsea was looking for a simple website presence and was not in any need of extensive tools or ecommerce systems. She would also be managing the website herself and as a busy business owner, a user-friendly platform was a necessity.
Squarespace offers:
- built-in drag and drop design
- built-in ecommerce tools and payment processing
- an all-in-one system for managing your domain and website
This website was built by us (KAESPO Media at the time) and maintained by the client. We do not maintain this website. Design, content, and website marketing strategy may have changed since taking final screenshots for our portfolio.
